Debbie Amato has worked in education for 30 years, building extensive experience across a wide range of roles and settings. Her career has spanned school administrative/secretarial support, teaching assistant, learning mentor, class teacher, middle and subject leadership, SENDCo, Family Liaison Officer, Designated Safeguarding Lead, Deputy Headteacher, Head of School and, most recently, Trust Lead for Inclusion. Having worked in both specialist and mainstream provisions, across primary and secondary phases, Debbie brings a broad understanding of the diverse needs of children, families and school communities.

Debbie holds a First Class Honours degree in Child Development and Learning from Canterbury Christ Church University and has achieved the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCo). She is deeply committed to ensuring that every child, regardless of their starting point, individual differences or challenges, receives an education that enables them to thrive. Her work is driven by a passion for inclusive practice and a belief that high-quality education should create lasting, positive outcomes for children both within school and throughout their lives.
