Liz Gamet has been a qualified teacher for the past 24 years and has spent 23 of those years at Luton. She gained a First Class BA Hons in Education (QTS) at Canterbury Christchurch University and joined Luton Infants School in 2001. She worked her way up to Deputy Head Teacher of first the infants and then subsequently Luton Primary School when the infants and juniors amalgamated in 2019. Her specialisms include the teaching of reading and writing, especially for those children with SEN as she is a qualified Reading Recovery Teacher. Liz completed her NPQH in 2018 and has just been successful in securing the position of Head of School at Luton Primary School. She particularly enjoys working with the vibrant and diverse community of Luton and is passionate about ensuring all children have the opportunity to achieve their dreams.
