Leadership

Louise Kennett has been a qualified teacher for the last 20 years and working within special education for 16.  She has specialised in working with pupils with complex SEN and Autism in particular as a teacher and as a leader.  She is currently Head of Provision for the Marlborough in Hoo St Werburgh, Medway, Kent. After entering special education, Louise went on to study at the Tizard Centre at the University of Kent and gained her Masters degree in 2015 and subsequently trained and accredited as a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) to add to her expertise in teaching and behaviour management.  Louise was invited to present at the international ABAI conference in 2016 in Chicago which was a fantastic opportunity to meet professionals also working within special education.  Louise is also currently a tele-consultant for families internationally needing support with learning and behaviour.  Louise has recently collaborated with national online company PiXL to extend their SEND offer.   Louise is passionate about providing an outstanding offer for SEND and Autism at The Marlborough.
