Triple R, Rivermead School’s extension in Parkwood is for learners with mental health needs who are either a post in-patient from a clinical provision and are receiving ongoing treatment from a psychiatrist or are currently on the CAMHS out-patient psychiatric, clinical caseload. Triple R’s main aim is to engage every individual in life by activating the learner’s social engagement system via PACE and PRRR.
Following a successful application to Trauma Informed School UK (TISUK), Triple R are proud to say we are officially a Trauma Informed School; one of only 17 schools with this status nationally and the first school in Kent to have achieved this award.
The TISUK assessor reported: ‘The passion and care shown by senior leaders in the school is exceptional. The Head and Assistant Head are passionate advocates of the young people attending the school and are supported in their vision by the CEO of the Trust and the School Improvement Officer who are committed to developing the trauma informed practice across the trust.’
